| Daniel Sandholzer joined UMUC Asia in September 2003 as a Shipping and Receiving Assistant in the Textbook Department. He transferred to the Asia DE Student Representative position in September 2005. Living in Japan for over two decades, Daniel graduated from a Japanese high school and is fluent in English and Japanese. He is currently pursuing a B.A. in business administration from UMUC. | |

JU YEON SCHULMAN

| Ju yeon Schulman holds a B.A in English Literature and Small and Medium Business Enterprise from Soongsil University, Seoul, Korea and a Masters Degree in International Relations from Troy University. Prior to joining UMUC, she worked as an international trade negotiator, a marketing specialist and a regulatory affairs specialist. After substitute teaching high school in Korea for several months, she pursued a career in higher education, and began employment with UMUC as a field representative in May of 2009 and she assumed her current position as Academic Advisor in July of 2009. | |

ROBERT SCHULTZ

| Robbie Schultz graduated from Kadena High School on Okinawa. He went on to receive his B.A. in Psychology from Biola University in California. Robbie started working for UMUC Asia as a field representative in July of 2008, and he assumed his current position as Academic Advisor in April of 2009. He is currently working towards an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. | |

BREN SHULER

| Bren Shuler received his B.S. in mathematics from Colorado State University and his M.S. in educational leadership from Troy State University. He is a veteran of twelve years of active and reserve duty in the U.S. Air Force who served nearly eight years in Japan. While in the Air Force Mr. Shuler gained a wide range of experience in Aircraft Maintenance, Air Transportation Management and Logistics Management. Mr. Shuler served as the Senior Assistant to the Director, UMUC Asia from June 1993 until assuming his present position in July 2007. | |

KENNETH SMITH

| Dr. Smith before earning his first college degree spent four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He then went on to earn a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama. After earning his first degree, he accepted a position for the IRS where he worked on special assignments in Zimbabwe, Peru, and the former Soviet Union. During his tenure with the IRS, he earned a MBA from Jacksonville State University. He terminated employment with the IRS in 1988 to pursue a Doctor of Arts in Economics, which he received in 1990. Between 1990 and 1998, he taught at Middle Tennessee and Morehead State Universities. In 1994, he operated his own tax practice, which he maintained until he joined UMUC as a member of the Russian Undergraduate Program. He spent the 1998/1999 academic year in Vladivostok, Russia. After UMUC stopped offering on-site instruction in Russia, he joined the Asian Division. Since joining the Asian Division, he has taught in Korea and Japan. Most recently, he has left the ranks of faculty to join the administrative staff. | |

| Nina Stewart earned a B.A. in Management Studies from UMUC in 2004. She joined UMUC Asia in June 2000 as a field representative in Okinawa and assumed her current position as the Administrative Assistant in June 2008. | |

| Anne S. Sweet earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Vermont and recently completed her M.S. in Higher Education Administration through Drexel University. Throughout her career Ms. Sweet has worked at several different universities, in areas such as admissions, orientation, leadership development, residential life, and academic advising. She joined UMUC Asia as Assistant to the Associate Dean in the fall of 2007, spent a year in student affairs as a member of the academic advising and degree audit team, and assumed her current position in August 2009. | |
