KEIKO JACK
Assistant Comptroller
Keiko Jack received her B.A. in Business Administration from Meiji University, Japan and her M.A in International Affairs with a specialization in International Finance from George Washington University. Soon after earning her M.A. she became a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Jack has worked for accounting firms as an accountant and auditor. She joined UMUC Asia in August 2005 and assumed her current position in January 2008.

RICHARD JOHNSON
Academic Advisor - Okinawa
Richard (Chris) Johnson earned his B.A. in English from UMUC after taking most of his Asian Division course work in Okinawa. He has graduate training in Counseling and Personal Services through the University of Maryland College Park and is currently working on a second B.S. in Computer and Information Science. Formerly an Air Force Communication and Navigation Systems Specialist on KC-135A/E/R aircraft, Mr. Johnson initially joined UMUC in Okinawa as a Field Representative in 2000.

KELLY JOHNSTON
Assistant to the Associate Dean
Kelly Marie Johnston graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania where she took her BA in Middle East Studies. Kellys interest in the region was inspired by her experience at the Defense Language Institute, where she participated in a year-long Persian Immersion language course. Kellys Persian language study also ignited her passionate interest in Iranian film and literature. Soon after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Kelly relocated to Cairo, Egypt where she studied Arabic and worked toward a Masters in Middle East Studies at the American University in Cairo. She has worked as a copyeditor for the American University in Cairo Press for nearly four years. Kelly is currently pursuing a Masters in International Management at UMUC.
