KRISTIN CARLILE
Academic Advisor - Okinawa
Kristin Carlile received her B.S. in Psychology from UMUC (2004), and her M.A. in Human Relations from University of Oklahoma (2008). She has lived in Okinawa off and on for nine years as a military spouse, and worked for UMUC as a Field Representative and Field Representative Supervisor (2002-2004) before accepting her current position as Academic Advisor (2009). Kristin enjoys traveling, diving, snorkeling, family time, and being a life time student.

MARIKO CARSON
Academic Advisor - Japan
Mariko Carson is an Academic Advisor with the UMUC Asia Division. Mariko holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business (2004) from the University of Arizona in Tucson, and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Management with UMUC. Prior to relocating to Japan, Mariko lived in Kaiserslautern, Germany where she was employed with the U.S. Air Force at Ramstein Air Base. She is no stranger to the University System of Maryland as she has participated in a domestic exchange at Towson University (2003). She also served as an intern at the University of Maryland  College Park, in conjunction with the National Institute on Drug Abuse (2002). Mariko enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

JACQUELINE CILLIZZA
Bridge Program Coordinator
Jacqueline Cillizza earned her B.A. in psychology from UMUC in 1997. She joined UMUC in a staff role in 1996 and worked both as a Field Representative and as Program Coordinator in the Graduate Counseling Program Office before becoming an Academic Advisor in 2000. Ms. Cillizza was awarded her M.A. in Counseling and Personnel Services by the University of Maryland, College Park in 2004. She assumed her current position this year.
