ATSUKO YAMADA

| Ms. Yamada received her B.A. from UMUC and her M.A. in comparative culture from Sophia University in Tokyo. She also holds a Certificate in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language from Japan's National Language Research Institute; a Certificate in Japanese Linguistics from the Society for Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language; and an additional Certificate in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language from Asahi Culture Center in Tokyo. Along with members of a study group affiliated with the National Language Research Institute she is coauthor of two books on Japanese, one for beginners and one for advanced students: 'Tips for Improving Your Japanese' and 'Tips for Improving Your Japanese II: Adverbs.' Ms. Yamada has taught for UMUC in the Tokyo area for many years, and in the distance education program, and currently serves as UMUC Asia Academic Director for Japanese Language and Culture. | |

KATHLEEN YAGAMI-REDMAN

| Ms. Yagami-Redman earned her B.A. in business education from California State University at Los Angeles and her M.B.A. in human resources from California Lutheran University. She had a variety of professional employment experience in California with Allstate Insurance Company, Litton International Development Corporation, Whittaker Electronic Systems, and as Operations Training Manager at the Baskin-Robbins National Training Center. Ms. Yagami-Redman taught in Chapman University'fs graduate program in human resource management, initially in Chapman's Asian programs and subsequently at its Irvine and Manhattan Beach campuses in California. She joined the UMUC Asia faculty in 1993, teaching through 1999 at numerous different locations throughout Korea and mainland Japan, then teaching for four years via distance education while residing in the United States, and rejoining the faculty in Asia in January 2004. | |

YUKO YAMAMIYA

| Dr. Yamamiya obtained a B.A. in Psychology with the Highest Honors from the University of Hawaii and a M.S. in General Psychology from the Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia. She completed a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychopathology from the University of South Florida in 2007. Her research interests are body image disturbances among young population across different cultures, and social factors that influence body image development, and one of her current research projects is about eating disorders and alcohol problems among Japanese females. Dr. Yamamiya joined UMUC Asia in 2006 and currently lives in Japan and teaches with the distance education program. | |

ANTONIA YOON

| Ms. Yoon earned her B.S. in mathematics from the University of Florida at Gainesville, and also holds a Master of Arts in Teaching, with a major in mathematics, from the University of Florida. She has a variety of computer programming experience. She taught at the University of Florida where she was a lecturer and a teaching assistant, and more recently at KangNung National University in Korea. Ms. Yoon joined the Asian Division faculty in October 1997 and has been teaching at numerous locations in Korea and in the Distance Education Program. | |

YOU-SOOK YOON

| Ms. Yoon has been teaching Korean language since 1998. She has taught at Camp Humphreys and Camp Henry. Ms. Yoon is a fulltime English at a Seoul Language Institute. She holds the B.A. degree from Sungkyungkwan and the M.S. degree at State University of New York, Albany. At SUNY, Albany, she taught English to international students. | |

PAMELA YOU

| Ms. You holds a B.A. in accounting from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland, and an M.B.A. in finance from the City University of London, United Kingdom. She has taught in Korea at Hongik University, Yonsei University, Dongduk Womens University, and Korea University. Ms. You has a wide range of professional experience in Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom. In Korea, this included service with the Royal Bank of Canada, Seoul Branch; Ernst and Young Consulting; and Cosa Libermann, Puma Division. She joined the UMUC Asia faculty in 1999 and has taught at several locations in Korea and in the distance education program. | |
