Position: VA Certification Specialist

Description: Duties include but are not limited to processing enrollment certifications and reviewing VA paperwork for new students. The incumbent will process incomplete and withdrawal forms, offer telephone assistance for students with VA questions. She/he will assist walk-in students with VA questions and will also perform supportive duties which may include clerical duties. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: • Associate’s degree or at least 60 credit hours of college preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills a must
• Excellent customer service, computer applications, and problem-solving skills
• Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills a must
• Superior attention to detail and accurate data entry skills required
• Must be able to make a minimum of a year commitment to the position
• Must be able to pass a U.S. background check
