Kim Skoog
Dr. Skoog received his B.A. in philosophy from the University of Minnesota and his M.A., also in philosophy, from the University of Washington. At the University of Hawaii, where he received his Ph.D. in philosophy, he specialized in Asian philosophies and Sanskrit. He has published on Asian philosophies and religions and conducts annual study tours to China and Tibet. Dr. Skoog has taught at Frostburg State University in Maryland, the University of Hawaii, Honolulu Community College, Rainer College, and the University of Guam. He has taught a wide range of courses in philosophy since joining the UMUC faculty in Guam in 1990.
