Teresa Fernandez
Location: Distance Education
Ms. Fernandez holds a B.A. in quantitative methods from the University of Puerto Rico and an M.S. in computer science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She has taught at North Harris College, Houston Community College, and Montgomery College, all in Texas, and has varied college-level administrative experience. Ms. Fernandez has extensive teaching experience in programming and other computer-related fields, making use of a number of different programming languages. She also had several years of professional employment with the IBM Corporation. She joined the UMUC Asia faculty in January 2002, teaching in the distance education program.
