David Eakin
Location: Korea
Dr. Eakin holds a B.A. in psychology, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in English, all from Arizona State University. Before joining UMUC Dr. Eakin held teaching appointments at the University of Mississippi, Auburn University, and McNeese State University. In addition to authoring a number of professional publications, he also served as an editor with Prentice-Hall, where he helped develop high school grammar and composition textbooks. Dr. Eakin joined the UMUC faculty in the 1989-90 academic year. His initial Asian Division assignment was in Korea, and he has remained there, having offered classes at numerous different locations throughout the peninsula.
